Tameka Mays is DSEA's new Vice President! She is a paraprofessional and has been an active member of DSEA since 2004. An advocate for public education at the local, state, and national levels, Tameka has previously served as a local President and an NEA Fellow. She is also a community activist and founder of a nonprofit that serves homeless and underserved populations. She is passionate about giving back to her community and being a strong union member. She and her husband, fellow DSEA member and Teacher, Warren have 3 daughters.
