Professional Learning: Micro-credentials

A micro-credential is a short, competency-based recognition. NEA offers over 175 micro-credentials that have been created by educators for educators, while the Delaware Department of Education has focused micro-credentials in the areas of Early Literacy and World Languages.

Paraprofessional Connection

The Paraprofessional Connection is a monthly e-newsletter provided to DSEA's Paraprofessional members. The publication discusses important Para issues and provides strategies and knowledge that help classroom paraprofessionals be more effective in their roles.

Professionally Speaking

Professionally Speaking is a monthly e-newsletter for ESP members as well as Teachers and Specialists. It provides access to educational resources and learning events, as well as information about education policy developments in Delaware.

DSEA Professional Development Training Team

DSEA invites members to apply to be a part of the DSEA Professional Development Training Team. A variety of opportunities are available for members. Members who are a part of the Training Team will be compensated according to position and level of participation.

DSEA represents the over 12,000 classroom teachers, specialists, and education support professionals working in Delaware public schools. These individuals are dedicated to providing the best educational opportunities to the 130,000 Delaware students. DSEA members provide a wide range of services to the students and the communities they live in.
