Public Education Funding Commission- Public Engagement Meeting #1

The Public Education Funding Commission (PEFC) is charged with reviewing and recommending improvements to Delaware’s public education funding system. The Commission is working to design a more modern, equitable, and transparent approach to how education dollars are distributed across the state.

  • This public engagement session hosted by the Public Education Funding Commission will be conducted online.

The PEFC is now hosting a series of public engagement sessions to gather input on its proposed new funding formula, and we need to make sure educator voices are centered in this process.

These sessions will:

  • Review the proposed hybrid funding model, which seeks to better support all students while promoting equity, transparency, and accountability.
  • Provide a forum for educators and community members to ask questions and share feedback that will guide the final recommendations.
