AR Virtual Trainings: Advocacy Skills – Administrative Meetings

Are you ready to support a fellow educator in a meeting with administration? This virtual session will help you feel more confident stepping up to represent a member and advocate for their rights. We’ll talk about Weingarten and Garrity Rights, meeting notices, just cause, and practical tips to keep in mind before, during, and after an administrative meeting. Be sure to have a copy of your local contract handy! We’ll connect what we cover to your collective bargaining agreement so you can see how these rights and protections apply in your local.
