Greetings! I’m Gloria Ho and I’m seeking re-election as your NEA Director. A 27-year public-school educator and the 2024 National School Social Worker of the Year, I’ve turned advocacy into action—supporting students, families, and educators while serving our union from the local to the national level.
Over the past term, I’ve:
- Carried your stories to Dover and Washington, D.C.
- Kept members informed and engaged in our union’s work.
- Delivered national wins—together, we secured congressional support for IDEA Full Funding, ESP Family Leave, and essential student nutrition programs—by leveraging the collective voice of 14,000 members and building strong relationships with our federal delegation.
From the classroom to the Capitol, my mission is to ensure educator voices are heard and national policies reflect the realities of our schools and students. Whether advocating for funding in D.C., testifying for mental-health supports in Dover, or canvassing for DSEA-endorsed candidates, I keep educators and students front and center.
Representation matters. As former DSEA EMAC Chair, I’ll continue to champion diverse voices, equity, and respect for every educator. I also serve on the NEA Legislative and Executive Compensation Committees, DSEA Finance Committee, and Policy Task Force.
In my next term, I’ll grow our movement—deepening coalitions, strengthening our national influence, and cultivating new opportunities for members to lead and serve.
With the knowledge, experience, and tools to lead from day one, I’ll keep fighting for you—because when educators are supported, students succeed, and our schools and communities grow stronger.
As attacks on public education, unions, and educator voice intensify, Delaware’s one seat on the NEA Board must remain with someone who knows our classrooms, amplifies our voices, and delivers results for educators and students.
One Seat. Every Voice.
Re-elect Gloria Ho for NEA Director.
