I became a union member because I did not want to be in a position where I felt like no one cared about me or fought for me in my professional career. Since becoming a union member, I have had to fight and advocate for my rights, and for my fellow colleagues and members’ rights. Hello, my name is Jason Pilgrim, and I am running for re-election for the DSEA Sussex County Executive Board. Over the past 7 years on the board, I have seen this organization fulfill their mission of advocating for the well-being of each of its members. I have been representing the voices of our Sussex County members as best as I can and would love the privilege of continuing to do that again. I keep your interests in mind every time I vote or make a decision. Thank you for your consideration.
