Candidate for Executive Board- Sussex: Gail Jones

Only four candidates submitted petitions. Therefore, the race is not contested and the four candidates are elected by acclamation.

I am honored to seek re-election to the DSEA Executive Board. Throughout my service, I have worked as a dedicated fiduciary, education advocate, and political activist, always centering the needs of my colleagues, students, and their families. My experience on the Executive Board, Policy Review Task Force, and in the Representative Assembly has strengthened my commitment to transparent leadership and informed decision-making.

At Seaford Middle School, I am proud to have been nominated by my students and awarded Teacher of the Year for 2024–2025—an achievement that reflects my belief in empowering every learner. I will continue to bring the same passion, integrity, and advocacy to the Executive Board.

I respectfully ask for your support as we work together to strengthen our profession and our schools.
