Candidate for Executive Board- Sussex: Blair Catlin-Brown

Only four candidates submitted petitions. Therefore, the race is not contested and the four candidates are elected by acclamation.

It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to represent our incredible educators, our union members, as we fight for the respect, support, and pay we deserve. For the past three years, I’ve proudly served Sussex County on the DSEA Executive Board. This year, I began my first term as President of Indian River EA. Serving at both the local and state levels keeps me connected to vital information, amazing colleagues, and the rooms where decisions are made.

When I’m not advocating for our members, I work as a school social worker at Selbyville Middle School. Social work and union work share the same core value: people. And our people are our power.

I am Blair Catlin Brown, and I respectfully ask for your vote to continue serving you on the DSEA Executive Board.
