Candidate for Executive Board- Sussex: Amy Johnson

Only four candidates submitted petitions. Therefore, the race is not contested and the four candidates are elected by acclamation.

My name is Amy Johnson, I am a paraprofessional running for a two-year executive board seat. I have worked in Sussex County for 19 years. You ask what have I done, at the local level; I have sat on the negotiating committee, building representative, Peer Mentoring for Paras, local EMAC. At the state level, I have served or still serving as a Member Organizer, Resolution Vice Chair, SOGI, 2013 Leader for Tomorrow graduate, ESP Bill of Rights work group member, Women’s Task Force and I served on the Executive Board for Sussex County. I am asking for your vote to continue the work that I have enjoyed doing; knowing that we are supporting our students, communities, and building relationships with our union brothers and sisters.
