Candidate for Executive Board- Kent: Benjamin Black

Voting will take place January 5th through January 20th.

I am a Spanish teacher at Lake Forest High School and am in my 19th year. I have been a high school building rep in LFEA since 2019, building liaison committee chair since 2019, and president of LFEA from 2021-2023. I was the 2024 LFHS Teacher of the Year, and I currently serve on the Professional Standards Board. I enjoy fighting for my coworkers and their right to a fair and equitable workplace and would like the opportunity to do so on the Executive Board. The work of DSEA is crucial for the success of both us and our students, and I want to continue learning and growing as a union member and advocate while working for all Delaware educators.
