Candidate for Delegate to NEA RA: Sonia Everson

Voting will take place January 5th through January 20th.

Hello, I’m Sonia Everson, a math intervention para-educator with the Caesar Rodney School District, and I’m excited to ask for your vote to represent Delaware at the NEA Representative Assembly for another two years. Through my roles as an Executive-at-Large board member and chair of the Equity and Minority Affairs Committee for CREA, and co-chair of the DSEA Equity and Minority Affairs Committee, I’ve been proud to champion equity and strengthen the voice of our educators. Attending the NEA Representative Assembly this past summer was a powerful and inspiring experience. Seeing how our dues fuel meaningful national change—and casting votes on bills that impact our profession—reinforced my passion for this work. I’m committed to bringing your voice forward and continuing to advocate for our schools, our members, and our students. I truly hope to earn your support.
