Hello! My name is Nora Boehm, and I am running for one of the NEA RA Delegate seats. I have been a middle school Social Studies teacher at Dover Air Force Base Middle School in the Caesar Rodney School District for thirteen years. I have served as a building representative for the past four years and currently serve on the DSEA Policy Review Task Force, my school’s leadership team, and the district-level staff leadership team. This summer, I attended the national convention for the third time. As always, it was an incredible experience. As a Social Studies teacher, I am honored to have a chance to participate firsthand in the democratic process. Attending these conferences reinforces my conviction that we all have a voice that can positively impact education for students and school staff.
