Candidate for Delegate to NEA RA: Lisa Torres

Voting will take place January 5th through January 20th.

This is my second year in the Red Clay Consolidated district teaching at A.I. DuPont Middle School as an English 7 teacher. Before my position in Red Clay I worked for 15 years in Cecil County, MD. I started as a paraprofessional at the High Road school and worked up to become a teacher in this setting. I moved to the public sector in 2015 and worked as a special educator.

I would love the opportunity to represent members at the national convention to make sure that our needs are heard. I went to one NEA convention before and would love to collaborate with DSEA members to make sure teachers in Delaware have a voice on the floor and in initiatives set forward by the NEA delegation.
