Candidate for Delegate to NEA RA: Belinda Young-Payne

Voting will take place January 5th through January 20th.

My name is Belinda Young-Payne and I would like your vote for the position of NEA RA Delegate.

I am currently a special education coordinator at Pulaski and Stubbs Early Education Centers in Wilmington. I also proudly serve my fellow educators as an Area Director for Christina EA, a DSEA Executive Board member, and a delegate to the NEA Representative Assembly. As an educator and a union member for 20+ years, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions and settings, with diverse groups of students, families and staff.  While always advocating for resources and legislation to address the general needs of educators, families and students, my special areas of interest include equity, social justice, special education, and education for multilingual learners.

As an NEA RA Delegate I would learn all that I can and represent Delaware’s needs and interests as best I can.
