DSEA Human & Civil Rights Awards (HCR)
Overview
DSEA's Human and Civil Rights Task Force honors Delawareans each year for outstanding contributions and achievements in the areas of human and civil rights. In addition, the HCR Awards recognize outstanding student submissions in writing, art, and technology categories. Their submissions focus on the importance of diversity and its impact on our society.
2020 Student Contest Entry Brochure & Flyer
The Student Contest is the highlight of DSEA's annual Human and Civil Rights Awards Program. We encourage students in Delaware public schools to consider entering their original work. Please review the contest brochure and flyer, provided below, for entry guidelines, dates, and other important information.
Do you know someone who always goes the extra mile? Someone who always helps out their community, organization, school, etc? If so, now is the chance to let others know how valuable that person is to others!
Through DSEA’s Human and Civil Rights Task Force, two Delawareans are honored – one DSEA member and one individual outside of the organization – for outstanding achievements in Human and Civil Rights. (Previous HCR Award winners are excluded.)
Any DSEA member, organization or member of the general public is invited to nominate such a person by filling out the information below and including a portfolio of the nominee’s achievements.
