Delaware’s school funding system has not been updated in eighty years, and our students and educators are paying the price. Right now, we have a real opportunity to fix it and build a funding system that gives every student the support they deserve. Senate Bill 302 and Senate Bill 303 are moving through the General Assembly. Together, these bills would modernize how our schools are funded, direct more resources to students who need them most, and bring greater transparency and fairness to the system.
