Hats off to Read Across America

Each
year here in Delaware we promote a reading contest for your students.
This year's contest involves producing and describing a billboard poster
encouraging people to keep reading, keep learning and discovering how
much fun learning is. The billboard should invite the community to keep
learning, to keep valuing education - no matter who they are, where they
live, how old or young they are.
All K-12 regular public school and charter school students in Delaware
are invited to participate.
Prizes
The Grand Prize winner will see his/her billboard poster blown up on Delaware's
highways as part of DSEA's Great Schools media campaign.
Division winners will see their names and artwork displayed in the News
Journal on Read Across America Day. They will also receive prizes
which may include all or some of the following, depending on the grade:
a visit from the Cat in the Hat, gift certificates, and/or books for the
classroom library.
