Directions for Entering

  1. Delaware public school teachers (not students) must submit the entries on behalf of a student or group of students. All communication about the contest will be sent to the teacher responsible for the entry. (This contest is open to all Delaware public school students, K-12. This includes charter school students.)

  2. Only one entry per student or group of students.

  3. The maximum length of the video is three minutes.

  4. Entries become the property of DSEA and will not be returned, so be sure to keep a complete copy of your project.

  5. All entries must be submitted in digital form (CD, DVD, USB flash drive) as .mov files.

  6. Entries must be received at DSEA's Dover office (136 E. Water St.) by 5:00pm on the deadline day, Monday, January 23, 2012.

  7. Entries must represent work that was completed after September 1, 2011.

  8. Work of younger students may, of course, be guided by teachers. On the entry form, there is a question that will allow teachers to explain their role in the project.

  9. All entrants/teachers will receive an e-mail confirmation that their project has been received. We will then ask you to e-mail back a photo of the students and their teacher(s) that can be used by DSEA and the News Journal in promotion about the contest, and most certainly if they win!

Submit entry by mailing it on a CD/DVD or USB drive, with a completed entry form to:
DSEA RAA Video Contest, 136 E. Water St., Dover, DE 19901.
DSEA is not part of state mail, so please deliver in person or use U.S. mail or some other mailing service. Thank you!
