Jack Markell makes a point during his DSEA interview. Jack Markell and Matt Denn win big for Delaware

Denn thanks DSEA during acceptance speech
DSEA is 36 wins, nine losses in election recommendations

Several of our longtime Republican Friends of Education, however - leaders for public education and workplace issues, lost in hard-fought races: Terry Spence, Vince Lofink and Nancy Wagner.

Matt Denn will make education and issues related to kids his top issues.

Thank you! All of you who worked for five hours or more for a DSEA candidate this year will receive one of the new DSEA-logo, hooded, zipped sweatshirts.

DSEA’s endorsement process includes invitations to statewide candidates of both major political parties for Governor and Lieutenant Governor. DSEA then sends each candidate a questionnaire that is based on the issues contained in DSEA’s legislative program. During the in-person interview, each candidate is invited to explain further their beliefs, opinions and plans for the future of public education with an intervew team comprised of DSEA members from all three counties. That team then makes a recommendation to the DSEA Executive Board which votes either to accept or reject it.

To see how our federal candidates did, you must be a DSEA member and log in first. (Sorry - It's an Federal Elections Commission rule for membership organizations with Political Action Committees.)
